Do I need an attorney for my Social Security Claim?
We are local attorneys. We are based in Great Falls, and represent claimants throughout the State of Montana. We have experience representing claimants before our local Administrative Law Judges. At Murphy Law Firm, we provide personalized representation for our disability clients. Be assured that you will know your attorney long before your hearing, and more importantly, your attorney will know you and the unique facts of your claim.
We will be by your side at your Social Security hearing. Many of the out of state groups cannot say the same thing. Many times, these national groups find a problem with the case or just decide it is not feasible to travel to Montana for the hearing and withdraw from the claimant's claim on very short notice. At Murphy Law Firm, we have stepped in and prevailed in some of these cases. Furthermore, we are admitted to practice in federal court and we can appeal your claim to federal district court, if warranted. Visit our webpage to see a sampling of our federal court victories. http://www.murphylawoffice.net/case-results.
We understand the interplay between Social Security claims and Montana workers' compensation claims. Montana is one of the minority of states that is a "reverse offset" state with regard to Social Security Disability benefits. This means that the workers' compensation insurer, and not the Social Security Administration, is entitled to an offset when a claimant is eligible for both Social Security Disability and total disability benefits from the workers' compensation insurer. However, national processing centers for Social Security benefits often calculate and take the offset in error. We are experienced local attorneys who know how to correct offset errors.
Every person has the right to professional representation while pursuing benefits under the Social Security Act. Please visit Murphy Law Firm or call us at (406) 452-2345 to seek representation for your Social Security claim.
