THOMAS J. MURPHY

Representing only workers' compensation and personal injury claimants, Mr. Murphy has provided outstanding legal representation to thousands of injured clients throughout Montana. With over 31 years of professional legal experience, Mr. Murphy is determined to protect your rights. Tom is married to his lovely wife, Leslie and the father of three incredible sons, Mike, Matt and Tommy.

Experience and Accreditation

Thomas J. Murphy graduated from the University of Montana Law School in 1985. He founded Murphy Law Firm in 1998, after 12 years of litigation practice with a large law firm in Great Falls. Mr. Murphy practices before State and Federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. In addition, he is the Co-Chairman of the Montana Trial Lawyers Workers Compensation Section and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Montana Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA). On the National level, Mr. Murphy serves on the Board of the Directors for the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG). WILG is comprised of approximately one thousand workers' compensation attorneys fighting for the rights of injured workers across the United States.

Thomas Murphy is the Recipient of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association Appellate Advocacy Award.

Thomas Murphy was recognized by WILG as one the nation's top 100 injured workers' attorneys.

Thomas Murphy was inducted as a Fellow in The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. He is the first lawyer in Montana to be inducted as a Fellow into The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers.

CHARLA K. TADLOCK

For more than 16 years, Charla K. Tadlock has provided compassionate representation for hundreds of injured and disabled clients in Montana. She exclusively represents claimants in Social Security disabilityworkers' compensation, and personal injury cases. Charla is also the proud mother of three amazing children and active in her church's children's ministry.

Experience and Accreditation

Charla K. Tadlock attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated with honors in May 2000. Charla Tadlock was admitted to practice in Montana in September 2000. She is also licensed to practice in the Federal District for the State of Montana.

MATTHEW J. MURPHY

Matt brings a lot of energy to everything he does, and he focuses his professional efforts on representing injured people in Montana.  Matt represents clients in the areas of workers’ compensation, unsafe workplacepersonal injury, wrongful death, and Social Security disability law.  Matt is admitted to practice law in all Montana State Courts and before the U.S. District Courts.  Matt is a member of the Cascade County Bar Association, Montana State Bar, American Bar Association, and the Montana Trial Lawyers Association.

Matthew J. Murphy is an Associate Attorney at Murphy Law Firm. Matt grew up in Great Falls and graduated from Charles M. Russell High School in 2004.  He completed his undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Montana in 2009.  During his undergraduate years, Matt studied international law in Rome, Italy.  After his undergraduate studies, Matt taught English in Costa Rica before entering the University of Montana School of Law in 2010.  Matt earned his Juris Doctor in May of 2012.

THOMAS M. MURPHY

Thomas (Tommy) M. Murphy joined Murphy Law Firm in 2014 in Great Falls as an Associate Attorney.  Tommy grew up in Great Falls and graduated from CM Russell High School.  He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Montana in 2010, and he received his law degree from the University of Montana School of Law in May of 2014.

Tommy represents clients in the areas of workers’ compensation, unsafe workplacepersonal injury, wrongful death, and Social Security disability law. Tommy is admitted to practice in all Montana Courts and the U.S. District Court. Tom is a member of the Cascade County Bar, Montana State Bar, American Bar Association, Montana Trial Lawyers Association, and the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group.
